Hey guys, whenever I try to download a file from a file hosting website the download gets interrupted and then fails. I've scanned my pc for virusses and spyware etc. and it seems to be fine. I've encountered this problem in the past with previous internet explorer's as well btw. Any idea what could be the cause of this?

What antivirus software do you use? What IE addons do you have installed? Does it happen with other browsers as well?

I use AVG, and Malwarebytes. I haven't used other browsers yet but I'm thinking of trying chrome first.

What file hosting site? I ask as most of them these days use their own downloaders.

I have the same security programs, but MWB is the free edition (runs on demand only) and have not had any D/L issues with Win 7 Home and IE 11, have you considered upgrading to IE 11?
