I installed Windows 7 (build 7000, then fresh install 7057) and both are having the same issue on my Asus G50VT.
When windows 7 boots, about 1/7 times it boots to a black screen and I have to bounce it to get it to go to the OS again. Also, sometimes when my computer turns on or comes back from sleep the keyboard, touchpad, and sound (Sound is very rare though) stops working and again, I have to reboot it to get it to work again. Other than this Win 7 Has been amazing, but these little factors are getting very annoying for me. Is anyone else having these issues or have a fix? Thanks.

first: have you installed all the drivers you had on vista (or the actual version off the asus page)
second: do you happen do have some virtual drive installed? this happens to make problems in some installations with sleep and such.
