Say some of those themes do look nice. Oh and welcome back !
-
thanks d00d. and I'm glad you liked them
PS: hope you've enjoyed the Windows 7 updates that I posted as well in my other thread
-
Thanks Maximus, good to see you back here.
That Toshiba theme looks nice, should go well with my laptop... -
emachines theme??? xp desktop with emachines along the horizon...
-
sorry.....
-
Heads up. Media fire doesn't seem to like Chrome Browsers.
-
Thanks dude
-
There's no Apple theme!?
-
You can't be serious xD
Anyway, some of these look quite nice, although I generally just steal the wallpapers from themes. I don't like having the color change unless its Green or Clear. -
worked fine for me on 3.0.195.27
-
Actually, I know I'm probably going to get flamed for saying this, but it would be nice if there was an OS X or Apple theme. I have a Mac desktop background
-
nice! thx~
-
Samsung is missing
-
Do you think that the manufacturers will set up their laptops so that they have the corresponding theme when they are first turned on?
-
what do you mean???
-
that's what they usually do, or at least, wallpapers for all I've seen.
-
When I got my computer, all it did was ask what wallpaper to use.
-
nice work m8, tyvm
-
This is some cool stuff.
-
does it actually customize the IU or it just add a new wallpaper and change the taskbar color?
pics anyone? -
That's all the themes do; well, they also can change the mouse cursor, sounds, and screensaver settings along with the wallpaper and window colors.
Anyone know how to have a theme running Aero basic? -
My Dell desktop and my Toshiba laptop didn't come with a manufacturer background...
-
ok i downloaded them... how do i run them?
-
e machines... still the same old wallpaper from 2001
-
Unzip the folder, extract it to a location where you want it, then go into your desired theme folder, and I think it's the second application in each folder (using my Vista desktop ATM).
-
thanks man... done. dunno why i didnt try doing that before i posted asking how... lol
so i have an asus motherboard but i have an acer lcd, i could be classed a a sony fanboy (i have a sony phone, camera, psp, ps2 and soon to be ps3, speakers) which one should i use? lol
i have to say i really like the acer, sony, asus, gigabyte, alienware, compaq and hp themes... -
Very nice themes thx
-
you're welcome
-
Thanks for the themes and those updates.. and +rep
-
You're welcome
-
OK, stupid question as i've never dealt with custom themes. Do I run the installer or do I have to place the theme file in a certain folder?
-
You should be able to unzip the folder, and within that there are more folders with apps inside them. I think it is the second application in each subfolder that you run, and the theme works.
-
It be cool to a have a Sony Vaio theme with the X or Z series wallpaper. You think thats possible?
-
I double clicked on the executable and all it did was installed the wallpaper to c:\windows\web\wallpaper\oem
I have a theme pack in the original oem folder but I don't know where it goes so I can enable the Theme. When you right click on the desktop there's a spot for 'My Themes' but nothing is there LOL.

Uh, it seems that i'm late:
