Hey, I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit and I have 6GB of Kingston HyperX RAM on my motherboard which is a ASUS P6T SE which can have 24GB of RAM, but Windows 7 is only saying there is 4GB of RAM, but when I run CPUZ is says I have 6GB. Anyone know what might be wrong?

You are running 32 bit edition of windows 7. Install 64 bit if you want to use all 6GB of your RAM.

Where are you checking how much memory is installed? System info or Resource Monitor?

System Info should show the installed amount of ram. This should always show 6gb for you.
Resource Monitor (Memory tap) shows the usable amount of ram. If you have 6gb and 32bit OS it should show 3-4gb total.

I had a similar problem on my desktop. Only 2.99gb was usable. So did this guy:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=451284&highlight=2.99gb

It was an "address space" problem. I solved it by flashing my BIOS and changing RAM settings to Auto. Here's how you find out if you have the same issue...
start menu -> search for "resource monitor" -> run it -> click on memory tab. If 2gb is greyed out and says "Hardware Reserved" there is your problem

    Also try this:
open msconfig (type it in teh start menu search bar). A panel will open. On it, go to the Boot tab, and click on the: Advance options button. A small panel will open. From there, make sure you UNCHECK (default OS configuration) EVERY CHECKBOX. Nothing should be checked.

If they were checked box, click on OK on ever panel window, and restart your computer.
