I was wondering if I should keep my RC until March.
Would it make a difference to me to buy it now?
I would like to save the money if I could.

    Keep the RC until March.
You won't lose anything by doing so, and since saving money is your priority, then do so.

Solely up to you. When you eventually buy the real deal, you're going to have to re-install and start from scratch. No transferring from RC to Retail without a clean install. So, if you have the time now to re-install apps, etc. buy it now, if not, later is fine.

I wouldn't expect the price to change though, unless you're hoping to catch it on a sale.

Not true. You can edit the installation to allow upgrades from whatever version. I believe the file is in the sources folder of the ISO and is called cversion.ini. From what I remember doing was editing the MinClient value to 7000. That should allow upgrades and what not to the full RTM.

Why would you continue to use a BETA version of an OS while the final version is already out? I say upgrade.

It is not BETA, it is RC. Big difference there IMO

Agreed. Additionally, it's best to do the work early (now) so that you can do it on your own time-table. If you leave it until the last minute then you risk it coinciding and interfering with your schedule later.

The price isn't going to change, but might as well pay later.

If you were a student, it would would have been smarter to switch earlier to take advantage of the $30 offer.
