i altered this from another i found on the web, i used one designed for the beta and altered it to make it an RC version it was also 32bit and as i have a 64 bit i changed that. i also added a place to put serials 1 or 2.
i still have the cdr file if anyone wants it...
if you pick anything up or have any ideas or your own spin on the design be sure to either edit and post your update or just sugest it and ill se what i can do.
also note that i have resized it to 75% of an actual dvd cover so i could post it...
cheers

anyone like it?
i feel sad now -
I think we're all still wondering why you made a cover for the RC (release candidate) version instead of the RTM (release to manufacturing)
-
because i cant get the RTM
so thats why but as i said i have the cdr file so you could just type in RTM intead of RC or just leave it out...
sorry mister i have a technet/msdn account...(jks)

Windows 7 (like Vista) can be installed from a USB key, so DVD's are sort of out of style. I burned exactly one DVD of a Windows 7 build for my Macbook Pro since they can't boot USB keys, but after that I used my USB key to update it.
I'd ask for a REALLY TINY version of that to put on my USB key but that might be kind of silly. -

how do you make a usn key bootable?

so i could just put the image file(ex.iso file) on usb then just boot from it?
Don't i have to make the usb bootable at first though? -
You mean just copy over the .iso file (aprox 3GB) to the USB flash, or do you have to do something to it first?
-
yer is that all you have to do? that cant be right... are you able to burn the iso to a usb with nero???
-
Wow, I just noticed this is the only Windows 7 forum I read that doesn't have the USB install process as a sticky.
