Ok, so my computer is having a lot of failed windows updates. On top of that it Blue Screens from time to time, and it also freezes. I'm thinking about starting from scratch. I'll need to reinstall everything, which is going to be a pain. At least all my Steam and Origin games are installed on a separate SSD. The OS/Apps are on the main SSD, all my stored files are on my internal Storage drive (1TB) and I have another 1TB where I keep images of the three other drives. My laptop has four total drives.
Before I begin reinstalling windows, I will create an image backup. Here is my issue. I have at least Microsoft Office installed, which I don't really want to lose. I suppose I could deal without it for the rest of my deployment. However it would be nice to maintain. Is there anyway to get my Product Key for that program out of the registry? I don't have the disks with me and so I can't just look on the case.
I'm hoping by reinstalling, I'll end up with a much more stable system.
EDIT: Just Ran cd-keyreader and it looks like it worked, Got the correct Win 7 Key so hopefully the Microsoft office one is correct too.

I have also had success with KeyFinder | Magical Jelly Bean . Just curious are you going to do a secure erase on the SSD before installing 7? Also have you run any diags on the SSD's or looked at the SMART data? I am in a similar situation but luckily only have 2 drives to deal with.

I recommend Belarc. It generates a file of what's installed on your computer, including product keys.

Yea, I'll be doing a secure erase. I'd need to check the smart data but it should be pretty good. Thanks for the program suggestions. I'll definitely try them out!
