Has anyone gotten this to work? I try to install this, and I always have a problem. The setup asks for me to choose my Windows installation folder. I assume this is the Windows folder, or perhaps System32. I tried both, and the setup tells me neither of those are correct. I'm totally at a loss.

Also, does anyone think this is worth using? I could just go back to using Window Blinds, I have the full version. But I wanted something a tad...lighter on the resources.

Try manually enable a program called truetransparency in program files folder in order to give you transparencies.

A low resource way to get "vista/windwos 7" theme is to

    1) Patch uxtheme.dll
    2) Load Vista/Windows 7 theme file
    3) No 3rd party software necessary

    If you want transparencies, get
    1) true transparency, for explorer window, program window, taskbar transparency
    2) Vistart, start menu transparencies and new startmenu emulation

Yes, it's always fun to put a more demanding theme to be drawn by the CPU, as we all know that CPU's are designed for drawing. And the GPU is the most useless technology ever.

Just get Win7, so that not only you get the true theme, but also use the GPU to render everything.

    Anyway, back to you thing:
You need to remove the system that checks for Microsoft themes... to do this you use a software which replaces a system file. That is the patch you need to get it. Sadly, the one I have bookmarked is for Vista. :/
