Does anyone know if windows 7 supports intel turbo cache memory. Device manager cannot find driver and intel driver for vista x64 fails to install.

So far, it does not. Intel is providing little priority to the Turbo Cache application. I've tried many different methods of installation, all of which fail.

If you have 8GB of memory, turbo cache is pointless...even if you have 2GB of memory, turbo cache has een shown to reduce performance in those instances.

Turbo Memory 2.0 has proven to be far more powerful and effective compared to the original model.

I think July of 08. At least thats when I got mine. The 2 and 4GB versions are v2, and the 512 and 1gb versions are v1. V1 proved to good, but v2 functioned the way we all expected. Especially in the 4GB model

It comes with an enhanced version of readyboost. From what I can tell, it works with exFAT partitions and support to at least 16GB. Also has a function to dedicate the entire device to readyboost.

Yes it does. Also a new version of turbo memory is coming with Nehalem.

So I am assuming no one has still been able to "enable" the readyboost checkbox? ReadyDrive is enabled (checked)... but ironically readyboost will not have a checkmark unless I plug in a SSD card and enable readyboost on it. Any Ideas?
