Windows 7 Ultimate version question. I was reading on the MS website about WIN 7 Ultimate. I came across this feature:

Switch between any of 35 languages.

Does that mean I can change the whole language OS settings on the fly? For example, I set it to English and I changed the OS settings to Japanese region code because there are a few programs that I will use in Japanese. Is that possible? Well at least the meaning of what that feature means.

And im not talking about the IME settings. Thanks!

In Windows 7 Ultimate, you can download additional language packs through Windows Update (the Japanese one for RC1 is 88.3 MB in size for me). They will change all Windows components to appear in the selected language. As Indrek said, you can then switch between the languages with a log off (or restart, I'm not sure either :)) in between.

That's only to an limited extend true for third party applications, just as Indrek said.

But that's nothing new, it's also available in Vista Ultimate. The Japanese language pack for Vista SP2 is 217,3 MB for me.
