    Hey all,

I have been on the fence about upgrading both my EEE and G2S, but after a quick call to Microsoft Product support, I think I am sold. I, and possibly many others, have been wondering about the required upgrade path. I talked to a representative, who verified with his manager, that you may jump directly to Windows 7 Professional from XP Home or Vista Home Premium. This would support previous ideas that since Windows 2000/XP are denoted as possible base platforms to upgrade, that any version -> any version is possible, with a clean installation of course.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I however will just upgrade my desktop from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium as I do not want to perform a clean install at all on it (too much to re-install and copy back). For my development machine though, I will jump it straight to Windows 7 Professional.
