I wonder if the DVD has both 32 and 64-bit versions. I don't find any information regarding this.

I believe the DVD will contain both 32-bit and 64-bit versions... or Microsoft probably is shipping two disc's per box, one with each version. With Vista, you only got both versions if you got Vista Ultimate.

"This product includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions." is what it says at the Microsoft store. Seems pretty clear, no?

The first option sounds correct. With the second one, I do believe that MS,a business company, will not send 2 products to one user and let him pick one.

It's the "same" OS. If you have Vista 32-bit OEM standard disk (the one you by from computer stores) or RETAIL, you can switch to Vista 64-bit using YOUR product key, and it activates just fine.
In fact Microsoft WANTS you to go with 64-bit, because it opens room for new features in the coming Windows. In fact Microsoft stated that Windows 8 will ONLY be in 64-bit. And, yes if you wonder, Microsoft is already working on Windows 8 (I don't know which part they started.. I don't think the programming part just yet) and my guess, is that they are starting to plan Windows 9).

It seems unlikely that BOTH the 32-bit and 64-bit versions are on one disk unless they are using dual layer disks.

Most likely they'll come on two disks. Disks are so cheap anyways (especially wholesale bulk prices) that it won't really be a cost to them anyways to ship two disks in each box. I bet the boxes cost more than the disks.
