In the past when I have had a single user account with password all I had to do to login was type my password, my account was automatically selected. Now when I arrive at the login screen I have to first select my account as if there were multiple accounts present, then type my password. I believe that this is caused by the AlienSense software included with my M11x which adds an icon to the user selection screen when active. I currently have it disabled and the icon is not present. Unfortunately I am unable to uninstall AlienSense as I will lose the rest of the alienware software such as the command center. So does anyone know of a registry value or setting that I can edit to skip selecting my user account and return it to the behavior I have experianced in the past?

Did you check in CP, User Accounts? Maybe that AS created another user account.

The only other user account is guest, which is disabled. Normally if there was only one account it would be automatically selected. But in this case it behaves as if there are other accounts present when none are. I googled for about half an hour before posting this and came up with nothing.
