So i got my laptop, installed my Win7P with my disc, and then discovered the laptop was faulty. I sent it back to the company for a replacement and it just arrived. I tried to activate my Win7 with the same key, but it said the key was not valid. How do I get this key to be valid again? I assumed that after the laptop went back to the factory and was dismantled the Win7 would be deactivated.

    Thanks for the help.

You will have to phone up Microsoft to activate it.

Since posts linking to cracking programs have already been posted(and deleted), I am closing this thread.

    OP,

Double check that you are entering the key properly...8s and Bs are often confused. If you aquired Windows 7 legally, then you should have a receipt/proof of purchase. Call up Microsoft and see what you need to do to get it resolve(make sure to mentioned that you computer was repaired).
