I would like to start an application in "realtime" priority. After a google search, I was led to believe that I just had to put "/realtime" at the end of the shortcut, like "C..." /realtime but that doesn't do it. So, how do you do it?

I use a program called Prio Saver mostly to monitor Network traffic and such. It also has a feature to prioritize processes that are running. It might accomplish what you need. It's a pretty neat app; Download it under the download section to the very bottom, where it says "prio.exe" CLICK!

What he said.. Awesome program.. Had trouble making it work in win7 though, dunno if its fixed now but i found Process Lasso which is a nice alternative.

Also what you are thinking of is to make a bat that for instance starts internet explorer in realtime:

    start /realtime iexplorer.exe

    get it ^^ ?
