Hi, will Newegg or others like it continue to sell Windows 7 for sometime after the release of Windows 8? I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 sometime next year and don't want to buy Windows 8 due to lack of driver support for my laptop.

Windows 7 is supported until 2020, and will be available for purchase until then, at least.

The problem may lie in new PC's. They may at some point primarilly be Win8 except those vendors offering option of Win7. This such as those same vendors that offered XP when Vista first came around......................
