Hi, I use Windows 7, I have a media player which i transfer files to regularly, it's usb 3.0 and i use it through my usb 3.0 port on my laptop.

A good majority of the time i get the progress bar which shows the file being transferred, but sometimes i go to move a file and no progress bar shows at all, so i usually just leave it a few seconds before i disconnect as I'm not 100% the file has definitely transferred (usually it has). these are mostly TV series so they may be anything from 500mb - 1.5gb, so I'm doubting the transfer would be that fast that it doesn't even bother showing the bar? if thats right then i think there still should be some sort of confirmation that it's finished so you know.

Can anyone tell me if this behaviour is normal and it's nothing to worry about?

    thanks

    James
