So I am getting a new custom made computer and it comes with either Usambu OS or windows 7.. Ubantu is free but 7 is like $100. I can get windows 7 upgrade for $30 with a student discount. My question is how would I install windows 7 with ubantu already installed??? It wouldn't be a DVD version of 7 it's a download version

You can't install a Windows 7 upgrade on anything but a previous version of Windows. If you can get a full copy of Windows for less than $100 with your student discount then you should do that, but otherwise, if you want Windows you need to pay $100.
