    Windows 7 major MSN LIVE lag!

    I have just done a clean install of Windows 7 Professional on my T400. After installing MSN LIVE Messenger it works fine for awhile then I experience major lag. This happens when I try to open new chat boxes. I've noticed that when the MSN lags it affects Google Chrome browser as well, but not FireFox. What could be the problem? I've tried re-installing twice and repairing but it'd only run fine for maybe 10min. and randomly lag again.

    I thought it was just me. I'm also having problems with Live Messenger and a couple of crashes so far.

    May suggest an alternative?
    I recommend Trillian 4 (it's free). It a AOL/AIM/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo IM program with Facebook and more all in one. I just use it for MSN, because I prefer it over the MSN messager software. Trillian is packed with option to really customize it the way you want, it comes with 2 built-in skins to choose from, and if you go Pro, you can download even more skins.
