Is Windows detecting the SSD? If the SSD is blank/brand new, Windows will handle the formatting and partitioning and such you need.

    Thank you for reply Pitabred.
Yes , the windows detects the ssd.
    1. If I have understood right , on the blank/new ssd windows 7 does a format and partitioning automatically during the installation?
But I read in the internet that it is necessarily to do format before the installation for the new/blank SSD (first use).
    2. If I want to format the ssd on existing win 7 OS , how I format the ssd and what i have to do additionally to formatting?

You can select an option in the installation when the option to select what drive to 'Delete', which deletes what ever is on the drive, and during the installation it will partition it for you. You don't need to do anything.

    Thanks a lot, Joel.
So if it's an installation on existing OS , i just "Delet" the drive and install the OS .
If its a new/blanks SSD there is no need to format it, because the windows installation do it by itself.

    Am i right?
