Solved thanks to RayanMX! Solution:Just need to boot from your Windows 7 installation DVD and then get into recovery and then enter to the command prompt and finally type: bootsect.exe /nt60 all

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my Msi GT627. After the first reboot it loaded fine but after that it always gets stuck on "Starting Windows" for a good 15 minutes. I have tried to boot into safemode but it always gets stuck at class.pnp or crcdisk.sys which I then renamed to .old so they woudln't load. I then get disk.sys everytime I try to load into safemode. I got startup recovery to run once but it failed and said that there was a driver error. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks

is this a single drive, IE non raid? I'm not sure if you have a second bay but Raid drivers can be a known issue. Another issue can be the bios. If you are not in AHCI mode, or in like an IDE compatible mode, it can cause Windows 7 to hang.

another problem can also be having VT enabled. Try in bios disabling this as well, if it is available.........

Go to Start -> Type 'Perf' and Click on 'Performance Information and Tools' under 'Control Panel' -> Advanced Tools (in the pane on the left) -> View Performance Details in Event Log.

This will show you a list of Warnings/Errors that occurred during boot/shutdown; should help you identify your problem (especially errors with Event ID 101).
