i will just copy what i said in one of my emails because ive explained it way too much...

'I originally ordered(and paid for) windows 7 Pro through the Australian site on the 4th October, i was contacted a couple of days later by someone from digital river saying that the site had been put up early and that i was not allowed to order until the 22nd of October. so he refunded my credit card and told me to go and re-purchase it on the 22nd. so on the 22nd i proceeded to do so but once i get to the verify order page and click submit it sends me back to the shopping basket and gives me the error (as shown below in red). i thought this might be happening because i had already purchased it though this email but the site didn't recognize that i had been given a refund, however i tried to purchase one for my friend through his email address and was given the same error... i also got the same error with my other .edu.au address but received the same error.

i have been trying to purchase two of these since the 22nd and i have sent customer support requests every day and have not received a reply yet... i really want to buy these ASAP. what can you do to help me? is it possible to make the transaction over email/phone?'

this is so frigin anoying because i just keep getting a stupid reply like this

'Thank you for contacting Windows 7 online store.

We apologized for the confusion. We have checked our records and it
shows that this order is still open for completion. For more
information, please contact out Customer Service at 1-800-642-7676.'

only this phone number dosnt work...

    and this one

    'Dear Mark Tarman,

Thank you for ordering from the Windows 7 Student Offer online store.

We apologize for the issue you encountered. We have checked our commerce
system and it shows that your order did not push through. You will not
be charged for the product you are trying to purchase.

If you are interested in purchasing the product, please attempt a new
    order using the instructions below.

    Go to: http://windows7.digitalriver.com/store/mswpau/en_AU/ResetShoppingCart

We recommend when placing an order that you enter your billing
information exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement.
If your middle initial appears on your credit card, please include it.

The phone number that was sent to you is a toll free number. We don't
have a phone number directly in Australia. You can also send an email to
    the link below:

    https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?ln=en-us&prid=10186&gprid=422204&st=1'

that is what i was telling them the whole time but they didnt bother listening. also the number does not work even putting the au to us code infront. and the support thing is for the product itself which is useless as i dont even have it yet... i also rang MS aus and they said it had nothing to do with them so they cant do a thing i just have to wait for a reply....

    aaarrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so angry right now

if anyone has any idea that could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

please feel free to ask for more info on the matter as i may have forgotten to include some of it...

    thanks VERY much

If you're a student, couldn't you just get a copy from MSDNAA?

Yes DigitalRiver has been refunding the fee, but then I have no idea if you get Win7 or not.

This is a problem with digitalriver not M$ BTW.

The OP is right. At my institution, only students in certain departments have access to MSDNAA.

    Hey I agree with you.
But I was pointing out this was Digital River not M$. If you bought it from M$ you would not of had the problem.

I wish M$ would of handled it themselves rather then contract it out.

DIgital River has had trouble like this before, they suck!
