Windows 7 student offer available in australia!

after emailing the US site asking when this offer would be available in australia i received a reply saying that it is available to Australian students for $50 AUD at http://windows7.digitalriver.com/store/mswpau/en_AU/DisplayHomePage

so i went ahead and bought two copies (1 with high school email and 1 with uni email) of profesional and then canceled my home premium pre orders from the US...

anyway just thought i'd share this for all those aussies on here

when I followed your link it said:

But if you look in the top right corner of the page, you see it's set to "english australia"

If you change it to "english united states" then you can see the page.

Just thought I'd share, lol.

 

yer i dunno whats happening there it happened to me to but it orked for me yesterday... (when i purchased it)

also when you change it to US its totally different and will not accept your Aussie email...

sorry dunno whats happened will try to find out though

yer dont know whats happened i cant even access my order so there must be some kind of problem with the australian site...

i have sent an email to digital river letting them know whats happening and if there is a way around it.

p.s. can anyone drom outside of AU access the site? cos if they could that would make it even weirder...

still waiting for a reply from digital river...

 

got a call from a MS rep saying that they accidently put the site up early and the AU discount isnt available untill release date so they refunded the credit card and said to go back on on the 22nd.

i bloody hope they dont pull this as i had 2 Home premium on pre order from the US for $50 each...

if they screw me around, ill be ringing up and having a big ...
