    Windows 7 thumbnail previews disappear with external monitor

    Hi,

    As soon as I connect my external monitor, the thumbnails reset to their generic icon. The thumbnail appear properly after opening the file up however it's a real pain when i've got many pdf's and word documents open. Does anyone else have this problem?

    It seems to do that whenever my laptop switches from Aero to Basic, and then back again; it might be doing that when you add second monitors, but it is a weird bug.
