I will not include Vista since it does not even compete with these 2 GIANT VS X GIANT

What are the advantages of Windows 7 over XP and vice cersa in your opinion?

Now I am a big fan of Windows 7 and I am using it, but I still respect teh old days of teh XPeh sp33d + compatibility + simplicity........

    In my opinion,

Windows 7 stands out when it comes to performance, as it makes better utilization of Dual Core CPUs , better RAM allocation / usage , way better power management, better looks....

Windows XP stands out slightly faster boot time, responsiveness, compatibility in my opinion is the same, i never had a problem running anything on Windows 7......

so that's it, the only thing which is still tempting about XP is the speed

    What's wrong with Vista?

    well......

    1) The original Vista was full of bugs, issues, slowness, only till SP1, did it perform right.......

    2) even with SP1 or SP2, which improbed Vista's speed greatly, it still lacks that extra response feel which you get from Windows XP and Windows 7 no matter what hardware you use.

    3) boot time is much higher than XP or Windows 7

    4) Vista's UAC is a total mess

You don't even know that Windows Vista's UAC is more secure than Windows 7's UAC. Do some searching online before posting false information.

If no one minds, I'm closing this thread. We've discussed this enough elsewhere.
