I have taken an adsl internet in my new vacation place. It is connect via LAN and I was willing to change my wifi card into a router so that I can bring my cellphone and itouch into life. Any way to do this?
    Suggestions will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

this should be possible by connection sharing and setting up an ad hoc wifi network.

This technology was developed my Microsoft, but was never finished. However, a company called Connectify wrote the missing pieces and you can download this from http://connectify.me/.

The easiest way to do this is to use the built in ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). Right click your LAN connection under Network and Sharing Center's advanced adapter settings. Select the Sharing tab and go from there.

This is only partially correct. You need to setup internet connection sharing, but an ad hoc wifi is unnecessary. ICS will setup the wifi for you (technically as an access point).

    This is unnecessary.

does your itouch receive an IP address?

When I tried this just now that was the problem for my iphone. DHCP doesnt seem to work so I set the IP manually and then it worked.
