so what am i missing here? i have only 1 HDMI Port on my Asus G50Vt-X5 laptop and 1 HDMI port on my lcd tv so why can't i get this thing to work? It says that it's there but for some reason windows 7 isn't letting me send the feed to my LCD tv :/ i don't get what's going on here anyone got any ideas?

Install better video drivers than the W7 ones. I like those
From my experience, W7 drivers don't really work well, especially with hdmi. -
-
No, the vista drivers work on 7.
I'm using these on 7077 X64 and an external 1080p monitor with HDMI. -
ok well i just treid it and it's nto giving my full resolution -_- it's only giving me 1280x720 instead of the 1366x768 that my alptop is set up to so care to explain this one?
Edit: NO luck with using this driver my TV's not even noticed so that added on with the fact that i have no higher res than 1280x720 and that it looks weird on top of that. I may end up saying goodbye to hte lovely 7 build 7077. -_- -
Your laptop is locked at 1280x720 even though it has a 1366x768 screen? Always or only when TV connected?
