I had DAEMON tools (don't know which version) installed under Vista. Then I upgraded to Windows 7. This led to DAEMON tools not working, not being able to install oder uninstall any version of DAEMON tools, and the SPTD driver not working.
I managed to solve the SPTD driver issue and finally have a working version of SPTD 1.62 up & running under Win 7.
This made it possible to install DAEMON tools lite 4.35 under Win 7, it is running. BUT I still have the old installation, non-working of DAEMON tools on Win 7. This leads to problems. When I boot up, I first get the following pop-ups to be okay'ed:
"Unable to add adapter. Registry access error"
and then
"Virtual SCSI driver not detected"
Also, neither of the currently two installed versions of DAEMON tools can be uninstalled. I tried to uninstall both, neither shows up in the uninstall software dialogue of the control panel anymore, but both installations are still there; the old one from vista which is broken and the new one which is working.
tl;dr: How can I uninstall DAEMON tools under Windows 7 completely?
How can I at least uninstall the non-working DAEMON tools under Windows 7?
My question is NOT how to get from SPTD 1.43 to 1.62, an issue related to DAEMON tools many ppl encountered who upgraded from Vista to Win 7, I fixed that one already.
Thank you very much. I already invested many hours into the problem, I hope with you help I can fix it entirely. Thanks.
I am using a VAIO VGN-Z12GN.

You can try just deleting the app folders, then use cCleaner to clean up the registry. It is worth a shot.

I use to have problems uninstalling DaemonTools while using the RC. There is a thread on the DaemonTools Forum website telling you how to uninstall it manually.
