Whenver i want to take a screenshot from a game, i usually paste it into paint and this never happened on Windows Vista, but now i take a screenshot, paste it into paint and all that shows up is black filling the entire page.
Anyone know why this might be?

Happens here too, it's annoying.. My guess is nVidia lol..
Or you wouldnt by any chance also be using Rivatuner? -
I also have this problem, and I too have an nVidia card (8800GT) and using RivaTuner.

I have Intel integrated graphics and can take screenshots in Windows 7 fine
-
Are you using FRAPS? Normal print screen may not work. Same happens to me too.

Use the snippping tool. It's there for a reason.
-
Use the snipping tool in a full screen game?
-
No im not using fraps and my card is an ATi 3650, so yeah, any other suggestions?
-
Lol, maybe it's another one of the 3650's silly bugs.

Vista and Windows 7 do what's known as indirect rendering. That's why they can show you previews of your applications in the task bar and such. That's almost certainly why the printscreen key doesn't work... it's grabbing a buffer that isn't really what you're seeing. Use FRAPS to take the screenshot.
