for some unknown reason my printer is refusing to print as it is shown to me. I have made some graph paper that's got lines every .250cm and also made sure the document was a 8.5x11 just like my paper but everytime i try to print it. It seems to shift the document down by .375cm and the left and rights by about the same. .250cm down with probably .125cm off the bottom, and to the right .250cm and off the right side .125cm. I don't know why it's doing this i even tried manually setting it in acrobat and other such thigns and the pdf file looks right. My computer is just refusing to print it properly and this is getting old very fast. So if ANYONE has any idea why a HPCOLOR LaserJet 1600 would do this that'd be greatly appreciated. I've already calibrated it and the printer is reading 8.5x11 also.

It's hard to tell what's going on based on your confusing description, but is the printer just adding margins? If so, can your printer do margin-less printing?
-
It's seeming to add odd margins and even then it's not really margins as much as if it's shifting it :/ and i tried to make sure it's marginless and yet it still tries to add them for some unknown reason and i cannot find the flag yet to change it under this strange hp.

Most (if not all) laser printers can't do marginless printing, so you need to confirm if your printer can physically do what you're looking for.

Also, just checking that you were able to install the proper driver (as mentioned in this thread : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=419179 )

Is there a particular reason you need the graph paper to go all the way to the edge of the paper? Make it 7.5 x 10 and center it.
Or go to a decent office supply store or college book store and buy a pad of 10x10 graph paper. -
