This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    So i took the plunge and decided to pay dell £5 to upgrade to Windows 8 on my M17x R4.

    I am wondering whether the themes and avatars come pre loaded onto the system as they were blacked out on the customisation screens.

    Is this a compatibility issue?
