And if one read looks carefully at the pie chart....Mac comes in at 7.68% themselves while W8.1 is 3.95%..how pathetic can you get??? And Mac is one O/Sx what gives??? And if you look again XP is still 29.23% on the chart far from being a dead horse. So W8.1 hasn't done the O/S any major changes at all and compared to W7 at 47.49% even if it dips a little is far far better then either Mac and W8 combined with Linux. And better took off like a horse at the race track when it started unlike W8 was like beating a dead horse to run......

Oh and this is makes it better?

This is because Windows 7 is no longer available to get how bad of reporting can one get. If you don't have O/S to sell how would you even compare numbers? Called "Cherry Picking".....

LoL, agreed trying to take a pile of crap and make it all rosy smelling. Of course something for sale will out sell something that is discontinued and not offered by the manufacturer anymore. Only way now is either previously created keys or with new systems. TBH not sure if a Win8 pro key is still downgradable.

Some people I guess are a bit sore and will rate threads like this with one star. So be it, I did not create this sore spot for them. IMHO M$ needs to know people realize just how bad Win8 is doing, and is, so they will not just repeat this all over again. Also they have to realize they need to do something to get their loyal followers back in their good graces!

So I say as long as Win8 is not fixed (Edit; or replaced) nor M$ has done the deeds needed to get back into the good graces of IT and general users lets beat the heck out of that horse until it is actually dead!

Unfortunately the damage has been done....and they are still denying there is a problem.....neither one will fix the problem....

Agreed, this is why the horse isn't dead yet. Until it is either fixed properly and all other deeds needed to be done are implemented, or just replaced, then we need to keep discussing the issues. Even with a replacement we may still be on this journey unless M$ wises up.
