    Hello,

i installed Windows 8 on my HP dv6-6180sp a few days ago. I enjoy the new OS, but there is a problem that i don't understand: Windows is freezing (not responding) too many times. I can't work 5 min without a pc freeze, can somebody help me? I have almost all drivers for windows 8 (but not the GPU driver, cause it is a switchable gpu so i can't find the driver). Thank you for reading, and excuse my english xD

The first thing is get a proper GPU switchable driver. It may not be the cause but without a proper driver it can not be eliminated..................

Windows Update typically has the proper graphics switching-compatible drivers.
