Windows keeps switching to the desktop after I login. It will go to the start screen, then I see the mouse pointer turn into the circle, then it goes to the desktop about 5-10 secs later. How can I stop this? It started doing it on its own.

Nevermind...I got it fixed. Was an update that created a scheduled task that I did not need.

Oh Windows 8, I shall knock on wood for thee.

Glad you managed to find the fix! Could you provide any info/details on which update caused this? For other users' sake. :)
