Hey Guys, last week I've updated my windows 8 with the Updates number KB2821895 and KB2771431 on my Asus G75VX. In the next day my OS became slightly slower, and after 2 days my computer is totaly slow, and the coolers turn on everytime on max, even if I don't open any program.

So, I did the restory and I hidded these Updates, now is totaly normal.

Did you have the same problem with those updates ?

    See ya.

No problem with any Windows updates here, I get the feeling that Windows was indexing stuff or that it was compiling in the background. There are always a few updates that cause some CPU usage after installing them. It's possible you fell victim to a borked update, but I haven't seen that type of behavior on my M6700.

KB2821895 installed on my machine this past sunday without issue and KB2771431 installed 12/13/12 without issue. you might consider updating more frequently, OP.

ah, almost a month ago--gotcha. might i suggest reinstalling windows? likely to save you a fair bit of hassle and headaches in the long run, especially if the machine is less than a month old to you and you're already having to system restore.
