Just installed the RTM of Windows 8 and I'm wondering why my complete PC backup (called Windows 7 File Recovery) doesn't work. It worked in Windows 7. I am backing up onto an external hard drive.

I removed all Windows 7 backups, deleted all restore points, ensured my system partition has 68 MB free, and tried backing up and the error I get is attached. During the backup, the VSS service is running. A few minutes into the backup, I get that error.

Anyone know how to fix this?
