Hi, i multiboot several os's on my laptop.
after a complete lockup yesterday on 'another' os i had to force shutdown with the power button :(
when i restarted in my normal windows 7 i had the 'dirty partitions' messages and waited for all the checking to be done.
it happened again today (yes, i am still playing with drivers  ) and i this time restarted into windows 8.
it was a normal restart, and logged in.
then i restarted into windows 7, again i had the 'dirty partitions' messages etc.
i didnt try to do anything on the drives as i knew that the partitions would need checking.

why is windows 8 not bothered about my 'dirty partitions'?
