This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Windows 8 isn't finished yet, so no trial version.
    There will be however a Consumer Preview some time later, probably even this month.

    and every windows version can so far be installed for 60 days, so that's the trial. but yeah, first it has to be released. till then, you can run it in beta for free.
