I have a new Asus N56V-DH71 laptop with Windows 8 Home Premium OS 64. When I first got the laptop, I had a hard time controlling the touchpad and accidentally turned on the touch keyboard icon that appears on the toolbar at the bottom. Anyone know how to turn it off? I Googled it and tried a couple solutions but it still appears there. I couldn't find anything doing a search in this forum.

Right click on the taskbar and select "properties." Click the "toolbars" tab. Unselect "touch keyboard."
