    Windows 8.1 App Updates Not Installing

    Hi,

    I have been having many issues trying to install app updates in Windows 8.1... Basically,each time I click on install on the updates the green dots keep flying across the screen and nothing happens... I've rese the windows store cache disabled firewall everything etc... Its just not installing.... I don't know what else to do...

    try sfc /scannow...? sounds like you'll probably open a bigger can or worms. a refresh, reset, or reinstallation may be in order.

    Ok, went into advanced restart and tried it but keeps saying a repair is pending and refuses to do anything.. I've done the windows update etc but just don't know what is happening.
