I just heard regarding this recently in Indonesia. I am not sure if this has been implemented in countries such as UK and USA. But it is said in the Windows Vista SP1 box that you must activate it within indonesian territory. Another known territory that use this activation restriction is Malaysia.

    My question:
I bought Windows Vista Ultimate (RTM) in the UK upon release date. Will I be able to activate it within Indonesian territory? (I am worried if the same applied to UK version when I upgrade it to SP1 and trying to activate it in Indonesia)
