I know this has been done before but that thread is outdated now.
I will start with the score I got for my XPS M1530:
![]()
I am pretty happy with this score except for the 4.8 for the memory as I have 4GB of DDR2 PC-5300 667Mhz and thought the score would be atleast a 5.0. Especially compared to the 5.6 I get for 2GB of PC-6400 800Mhz in my desktop score below:

The 5.1 processor score is for a E6400 Core 2 Duo as pc is now 1.5 years old.

my single core Turion yields 4.1

There are no less than 13 WEI threads, and the most recently updated one was done on Jan 17. I don't think that's an outdated thread. Would you mind using that one instead of starting another score thread?

Who really cares about WEI score?
-
I do, WEI is used by meteorologists to predict weather accuracy
-
I did a search for windows experience and the latest one I saw was last year so thought it was appropriate to start another thread.
Yeah it aint the most important thing in the world but interesting to see how the latest laptops are rated.
The most important thing is if the laptop user is happy with the features and performance of the laptop they have purchased. -

Now thats just showing off
How could you achieve that in a notebook? -
is pretty easy. WEI aren't that hungry like 3dmark
-
No. No it's not. All you get is noobs asking "how to I improve my WEI", "Why is my WEI so low" and "How do you spell WEI".
-
4.6 Total. Laptop in my sig. Is that low or what???
-
I like my Wii. It's a blast to play with

CPU - 4.6
RAM - 5.3
Graphics - 3.0
Gaming Graphics - 3.0
HDD - 4.4 -
CPU - 4.7
RAM - 5.4
Graphics - 3.2
Gaming Graphics - 3.0
HDD - 5.2 -
By hacking the WEI score file

4.7, specs in sig

This might only be the, oh, 4th or 5th time I've posted this...

Memory operations per second. Not memory size. Your notebook RAM is 667Mhz, while your desktop's is 800Mhz...
-
I wonder when the masses will realize the futility in using WEI to benchmark their computers? It's a stupid after-thought conceived by M$ solely for the purpose of encouraging noobs to needlessly upgrade their computers.

PROCESSOR Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core (8MB L2 cache,2.4GHz,1066FSB)
OPERATING SYSTEM Windows Vista® Ultimate SP1
MEMORY 3GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 4 DIMMs edit
HARD DRIVE 320GB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache
OPTICAL DRIVE Single Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability
VIDEO CARD ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO 128MB
SOUND CARD Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio
And look at this low as score LMAO this thing sackssss big time
-
Even though other scores are high Vista will always choose the lowest score for it's WEI rating. A high of 5.8 and a low of 3.1 will come out to 3.1!!! Interesting but who really cares.
-
I got a 3.7
Processor - 5.1
RAM - 4.7
Graphics - 3.7
Gaming Graphics - 3.7
HDD - 4.4 -
-
I have a 3.0, specs in the sig.

Shadowfate Wala pa rin ako maisip e.
Just look at my Sig
-
Interesting considering most people can only get a 5.2 out of your PQI 4GB PC-2 667mhz
-
with an integrated card? impressive. for some reason i cant get above a 2.7 with my 256 geforce 7200 =/
-
Yup, integrated, my lowest is in gaming graphics, as you can see in the attached photo. Maybe it has something to do with your drivers?
-
I would say it's a driver issue as well. I use 156.73 from laptopvideo2go.com and get 3.2 Aero and 3.0 Gaming Graphics.

Updated to SP1 and new driver and got lower grades
Score now is 3.5 -
I forget changes video driver 156.85 was 5.6 for ram then unistalled driver, use driver cleaner etc...then install 163.69 whql and ran WEI like two times click "update my score" that results give me boost from 5.6 to 5.9 after.
plus tweak services at Blackviper (right now new updates services for Vista SP1 from there.)
Aero off, defender off, UAC off, Windows classic look, defrag auto off, some others.
WEI bug ? or lucky me
