my gaming graphics dropped from 4.6 to 4.4
this is going from W7 Beta Build 7022, to the RC

Anyone else have similar experiences? I've tried multiple sets of drivers. I find it a bit discouraging :\

The tests probably have changed to test for something new (like how 7 tests for sata problems over vista). Myne was the same for graphics in vista and 7 i did not have this system for the earlier beta release.

It may not be a sign of performance decrease between the versions, though cant rule that out for sure. As i said i would assume something changed in the tests.

The graphics rating has always been the lowest on my system, regardless of Vista or Win 7; running Win 7, I updated the drivers from the Vista drivers that came with my HP to the new ones from nVidia that are designed for Win 7 and my graphics rating DROPPED from 3.4 to 3.2. LOL

However, when I ran 3DMark06 (using the stock nVidia Win 7 drivers), my marks (1896 3Dmarks) were almost as high as when I OC'd the GPU under XP (1999).

    So much for WEI...
