So I have a problem. Windows Explorer always crashes when I navigate to Program Files. Screenshot attached below:

Is it possible to fix this?

. what kind of c**p posting was this?
. R U 100% SURE THAT THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN XP?
. there were enough vista trashing threads/posts already in the forum, all u had to do was clicking the search button, go there and enjoy and leave the rest for forum users that came and looked for educational/valuable inputs

    cheers ...

It's probably a program that has messed with you explorer extensions - if you have installed something recently, uninstall it.

You could also reset your folder options:
control panel, folder options, view, reset all folders

    Or disable thumbnail previews:
in explorer click organize, folder and search options and choose always show icons not thumbnails. You could then show hidden and system files in folder options and delete all of the "thumbs" files in your program files folders.

    Hope this helps
