    I ordered the 120 day trial from microsoft and i am more than likely planning on purchasing it as well. My question is can you use the key from say a purchased copy from newegg to activate the trial copy during the 120 day trial without having to reinstall the OS, or can you purchase it online through them without having to reinstall the OS...or do you have to reinstall the os to remove the trial?

    hmm AFAIK you could use any genuine key to activate WHS without any reinstall.

    The reason i ask is because i read on a comment of a newegg review that said that it could not be used to activate it and it requires a reinstall. I kind of want to hear from someone who has first hand experience.
