    Windows Live Messenger 9 RC1 doesn't flash

    Anyone get this error? When you get a new message, the taskbar item doesn't flash unlike all previous MSNs. How would 1 go about fixing this?

    Isn't RC1 the most recent? It's the 1 that's like Build .....1202.

    Oh...yeah...mine works flawlessly. I thought it was final because I was using the first beta for quite some time.

    I've not issues like you do. I used it on xp&vista x86 and Vista x64. Works fine. Uninstall? Clean the reg with CC and re-install.

    mine doesnt flash either, i thought it was because of the theme i had (ezlo thin) but apparently not :(
