    Hi
My daughter has a laptop running Vista.

Her Msn Messenger live has stopped responding. I have tried to re-install it but the installer says it is already on the computer and won't go any further.
I have tried a System restore, to no avail.
I have gone to the C:\Program Files but Messenger Live or Windows Live is not listed YET the installer says it's there ?
It is also NOT listed in the Add/Remove programs list in Control Panel.
Last week i uninstalled the Messenger plus program to try to stop pop-ups related to that program - could this be the prob ?

Is there something i can type into "Run" to enable either the program to run again OR to uninstall it completely ?

    Any help would be apprieciated.

Try ZapMessenger. There was a thread similar to this a while ago, and this fixed the "Already installed on this computer" problem.

Just curious, how did you download it? Was it from here? Or an already packaged download?
