    Windows Live messenger crashing on Windows 7

    as i fired up my new laptop...and clicked on live messenger..it said i ll have to update to latest version.

    did that.

    and now when i click on live messenger from start...it keeps crashing ..

    tried clicking on 'check for solution' but hasnt helped till now.

    It helps to know the laptop make and model along with that OS you are running.

    We'll also need the nature of the error. If you don't get a specific error code or dialogue box, then use Event Viewer and search through Application Errors for any info on Messenger.

    okay...i restarted the comp

    and now it seems to work without any crashing.

    funny..but worked.
