I ran the windws update a few days ago. One of the updates was the Windows Malicious Software Remover. And so far, windows has not run the virus scan.

When does it run this program? Does it run as a background process or does it notify you. It's been like a week since the update, nothing about the Windows Malicious Software Remover has happend.

    Some one explain to me....please
