What does everyone think of the new WMP 10? I personally like the redesigned interface, but it is still godawful in terms of DVD playback.

Yeah I upgraded a few days ago. It does look nicer, but I don't really use it that much anyway...it plays the joke email avi's fine !!? I use powerDVD 5 for me dvds, and musicmatch for mp3's, although just got an ipod and i'm liking the itunes software quite a bit.

I like it so far- I use PowerDVD for DVD playback. Overall, it is huge improvement over WMP 9.

I personally dislike MusicMatch intensely. It needs way too much of the system resources. I use Quintessential Player, a free player based on Winamp. It is skinnable, and uses far fewer resources for MP3s and streaming.

WMP 10 ain't bad. It finally has better features to rip music and to play music as well. Musicmatch has to go [ :D]

I installed 10 twice and ended up doing a system restore. The installation just hung at a certain point and would not continue. I'll probably try again later.
